Mobile Sawmilling Service
Our mobile sawmilling service comes to you to mill your fallen or felled logs into slabs or dimensional timber.
Upon arrival at your property, we use the hydraulic levelling system to ensure the mill is level and crane is stable to pick up your logs. The PM4023 crane has a reach of 7.6 metres (plus sling length) and a maximum lifting capacity of up to 3 tonnes to manoeuvre your logs onto the mill bed.
Then the Wood-Mizer LT15 Wide sawmill gets to work. This heavy-duty machine can mill logs 900mm in diameter and 4.4 metres in length (an extension of up to 6 metres is available for jobs that span across multiple days). Your logs are then milled to your required shape and dimensions before being removed by hand or crane from the mill to a nearby location for stacking.
We charge an hourly rate and also offer a 10% discount on full or multi-day services.

Woodworking serviceS
We are now offering timber finishing services at our Ipswich workshop. We have various machines available for levelling, sanding, jointing and dressing your timber ready for use.
This will include:
- SlabMaster - ideal for surfacing slabs. The cutting discs and sanding pads guarantee a good flat surface for the finished slab (up to 2 metres wide and 5.5 metres long). Other attachments include a router, circular saw and drill attachment.
- Thicknesser - levels smaller slabs, posts and various pieces of timer (up to 508mm wide)
- Jointer - ensures squared sides for your dimensional timber, such as floorboards and posts. The jointer has a width of up to 200mm and a bed length of 1950mm.
We can help you finish your timber at our workshop for an hourly rate.
